Stones Show and the Librarians Were There
It was 1975 when I first saw the Rolling Stones. A roadtrip over the 4th of July to Memphis, Tennessee, was one of my first true rowdy adventures. I will never forget it.
Thirty-one years later, this librarian and her now-not-so-rowdy friends did it again. This time it was at my world’s most favorite place, Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky.
Perfect seats for a pouring rain. Alice Cooper opening with his snake. A stage like I have never seen. Mick and the guys AMAZING.
I have to work tomorrow. I have promised the director we will be AirTuning these:
1. Jumping Jack Flash’
2. It’s Only Rock and Roll
3. Oh No, Not You Again
4. Let’s Spend the Night Together
